John Konoski recorded & played with "The Primrose Trio".

John was born in Silver, Manitoba.

John started playing with his brother Leo Konoski and formed the “Primrose Trio” in 1962. The name of the band originated from the street he lived on, Primrose Crescent in Winnipeg.

The trio was made-up of musicians. Joe Wozlowski on cymbaly, Stan Kostuik on guitar and John Konoski on violin.

He eventually built his own recording studio in his basement and started recording.

The Primrose Trio recorded 5 albums and entertain at numerous weddings and house parties.
