Eddie Lyndon

January 17, 1937 - March 1,1993.  

Eddie Lyndon was a legendary Ukrainian Fiddler.

Ed was born in Sarto, Manitoba and started playing for weddings at the age of 12 years old.  He played with "The Interlake Polka Kings" and also "The Mike Domish Orchestra".
He also started his own band called "The Green River Valley Boys". In 1967 Ed and family moved to Kelowna, BC where he started another band "The Green Valley Boys".

Sadly Ed passed away in 1993 at the age of 56.

One of his signature numbers was The Interlake Polka.  It is known that many 45's of this recording had to be replaced in Jukeboxes as people played this selection so often that the 45's just wore out!
