Joe Wozlowski was born on March 1st, 1920 in the RM of Armstrong outside of Fraserwood MB.

He started playing that cymbaly (dulcimer) at age 7.

He played many weddings, socials, anniversaries and barn dances in the Interlake area and throughout Manitoba.

Some of the bands which he played with are: Polka Whippers, Interlake Polka Kings, Primrose Trio and Pride and Joy.

Joe had also made many Ukrainian recordings with musicians such as Mickey and Bunny, Jim Gregorash and Tommy Buick.

He has played from Edmonton to Thunder Bay, including Folklorama and Dauphin Ukrainian Festival.
